Giving back is an integral part of the Casco Culture. From volunteering to fundraising, Casco Contractors, Casco Design Studio, and EV360 are committed to creating a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
We encourage our employees to take a yearly paid volunteer day to donate their time to a charity of their choice. Over the last year, Casco team members have participated in giving back to a variety of causes including Adaptive Freedom Foundation, Boys & Girls Club, Cleanup OC, Mckenna Claire Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity.
Our passion for philanthropy stems from the giving nature of our founder and owner, Cheryl Osborn. In 2022, Cheryl was honored with the Spirit of Philanthropy Award by one of our beloved Casco Charities, Colette's Childrens Home, during their annual gala for her incredible heart and dedication.
2022 was an incredibly successful year for giving back. Casco held its Chili Cook-off Charity Fundraiser, raising an impressive $70,000 for two local non-profits, Make-a-Wish Orange County and Inland Empire and the McKenna Claire Foundation. These events are put on completely by Casco employees and made successful by the incredible generosity of our partners.
Shortly after this event, Casco Contractors was also awarded the Civic 50 Orange County designation — an honorable recognition as one of Orange County's top community-minded companies.
This year, Casco joins 100 Companies that Care — an initiative to foster a culture of philanthropy within the business community of Orange County. Every quarter, the funds contributed by the participating companies are gifted to local non-profit organizations with donations up to $100,000.
“Any effort or time spent to support those in need can make a difference,” Osborn said. “Together we can make an even greater impact.”
